Developed by Ocean View Games as the client's core technical partner.
We have led development of Domi, a Unity MMORPG on FishNet networking, since 2021. That has meant keeping a large codebase healthy over several years: four closed alpha stress tests, performance work and continuous feature development.
It also includes in-place Unity upgrades through every LTS release from 2020 LTS to Unity 6.3. The same engineers, tools and processes are available for your live game.
An unfinished brief is fine. The first conversation helps establish scope.
“Initially hired David to review code for the game at a very early stage and was blown away by his abilities and after a round with the board we hired David as lead developer for the project. He brought with him other developers who also did great work and I can say with full confidence there would be no Domi Online without their expertise.”

Project: Domi Online
There are a few common situations where outsourcing LiveOps makes more sense than building an internal team.
The developers who built the game are on the next project and nobody is left to maintain the live one. Bugs pile up and platform requirements drift.
See how it worksYou are a publisher with several live games that each need part-time engineering attention rather than a full-time hire.
Explore co-developmentThe game earns but cannot justify full-time maintenance staff, or it is near end-of-life with a loyal player base that deserves continued support.
Estimate a retainerWe integrate with your team and tools, then provide support that scales with the game's needs.
We audit the codebase, infrastructure and live metrics to find the highest-impact priorities, then integrate with your tools and set up monitoring, reporting and escalation paths.
We work the maintenance backlog, content updates and performance improvements on a prioritised rolling basis, with a consistent release cadence aligned to your roadmap.
We flex capacity for major updates, seasonal events and marketing pushes, then scale back during quieter periods without losing project knowledge.
Ongoing engineering for a game with real players and real revenue.
The Challenge: Keep a multi-year Unity MMORPG stable, current and growing while the client focuses on direction and community.
The Result: Five in-place Unity upgrades, four closed alpha stress tests with up to 500 players and continuous feature development.
The Challenge: Modernise a live iOS game's SDKs and add an Android build without disrupting the release schedule.
The Result: Updated libraries, new level tooling and an Android release alongside the existing iOS build.
Maintenance and development selected around your game, release schedule and player feedback.
Bug fixes, Unity upgrades, SDK updates, server monitoring and platform compliance.
New levels, items, characters, seasonal events, balance patches and UI improvements to keep players engaged.
Ongoing profiling, memory leak detection, frame rate and thermal work and load-time improvements.
Server scaling, matchmaking tuning, anti-cheat monitoring and network performance for live multiplayer games.
DAU and MAU tracking, funnel analysis, A/B testing, monetisation monitoring and churn analysis to inform the roadmap.
App Store and Google Play policy updates, certification maintenance and store listing management.
Agree response targets, support hours, escalation contacts and any out-of-hours cover before launch. Monitoring and on-call engineering are scoped separately.
Start with a conversation about what is already live, what your internal team needs to stay focused on and which ongoing work you want help owning.
We begin with a paid onboarding audit of the codebase, infrastructure and live metrics, so the retainer scope is realistic before either side commits.
David and Adam retain technical oversight. We agree the people involved and any specialist support as part of the engagement.
We agree capacity, review dates, notice periods and support hours in the retainer. Any on-call cover or additional capacity for major updates is arranged separately.
